We are back!

Hi all,
Just a quick note for now....we realize that we've been a bit off the grid and unplugged, literally. The PB SPX crew has been on a cultural immersion program in Bali with Dell'Arte. The program explores the cultural aspects of Bali such as dance, shadow puppetry, mask making, vocal chanting, etc. Sounds kind of random but in the scope of the kind of theater studied and practiced here at Dell'Arte it make sense.

Anyway, we have gotten some emails from folks (Shannon, we couldn't figure out how to respond to your comment asking if the program was still a go, so we're going to do it here...) We are glad to say...yes! The Pelican Bay Speaks program is still a go! Now that we are back in the good ole' USofA, we have a clear schedule to work on nothing but PB Speaks. And with just a month to work, we're going to need every minute.

Some of you may have heard that the NPR station got cut off from the TV signal, and yes this is true, but the prison says it's not because of our project. What matters most is that we try to get it back on so the guys can hear their work performed! We'll keep everyone posted on the situation.

That's all for now...we will try to get better at updating this blog and keeping things posted here.
Take care and be well!

  2. What is the status of the radio station signal at the prison? My husband in the SHU explained that most of the guys have cable there fore lost the opportunity to particpate and are in the dark to what happened to the project. Can you post the prompts and we can mail them in?

  3. What a mess! We have sent the men who have participated in Pelican Bay Speaks a letter which included all the prompts from week 1 - week 16. We have received a letter from men in the SHU saying that they received the prompts and are working on them. We have posted all the prompts on this blog. By all means, feel free to print the prompts off this blog and send them to the men. We know that there are many men who never sent us anything, but would listen to just in case men who were interested, but never wrote us... and so they would not have gotten a letter from us.

Thanks for keeping them connected. and we hope you will listen in on Sunday March 14th either on 90.5fm or on www.khsu.org/listen_live

For one thing is natural, Charlie we went to the same small college in Southern California — Claremont Men’s College — though he dropped out and ultimately enrolled at the Julliard School of the Performing Arts in New York. Had he stayed at Claremont, he would have been a senior the year I started there; I have often kidded that I was the reason he left when he finds out I had herpes. So my life have been lonely like hell all day I couldn't bear the outbreak pain, Tasha then introduce me to Dr Itua who use his herbal medicine to cure her two weeks of drinking it. I place an order form him and he delivers to my post office then I picked it up and used for two weeks all my sore was healed completely no more outbreak I'm honestly telling you this man is a great man, I trust him and his herbal medicine so much I'm sharing this to show my appreciation also to let sick people know there is hope with Dr Itua Herbal Made Medicine.Dr Itua Contact Email.drituaherbalcenter@gmail.com,Whatsapp.+2348149277967
